Franklin County Flood Apr 3-4 2014

This is going a little out of the ordinary for my blog, but if you want to get technical, the name is experiencing Illinois....and we had quite the experience with weather this week.  There's flooding all over Southern Illinois, but we just went around Franklin county a little.

I've never heard thunder so loud, quick, or close, and I've never seen the rain fall so hard, with the exception of the May 8th derecho (which, unfortunately, I filmed, but lost footage in a power outage.)  Weather forecasters are saying we got 6+ inches - and entire month's worth in less than 24 hours.
